Western Bingo

The first version of bingo, which is considered the progenitor of the game, is thought to be Italian Lo Giuoco Del Lotto D`Italia. It appeared around 1530. Cards and beans were used to cover named numbers. Once a player managed to collect all the values, they would shout “Bean go!”. The phrase was slightly transformed over time and evolved into the name of the updated version of the game.

The creation of the new version of Bingo was undertaken by Edwin Law. He ordered 6,000 unique cards and put them on sale, slightly tweaking the rules. The game became popular in New York and then spread to other states. Surprisingly, it became popular even in churches. It was usually played after sermons, and the income from the cards went to donations.

Within England, the game became so popular that they decided to legalise it in 1969. State lotteries with substantial prizes appeared. Starting in 200, Bingo games began to appear in a variety of variations in online venues.
